In The Dark invites you to switch off from the outside world and become fully immersed in a carefully crafted musical journey. Performed in total darkness, with optional sleep masks, the experience removes the distraction of sight, allowing you to hear music in an entirely new way.
70 minutes, with no interruptions, no phones, and no input other than live music. Live performers move around the space, sound shifts all around you. Music could be behind, beside, above, and even seemingly through you, all to create a breath-taking three-dimensional listening experience unlike any traditional concert.
It’s the antithesis of AI, richer than gong baths, and more intimate than distant stadium gigs. It’s simply being in the centre of the sound.
Following acclaimed performances in London, In The Dark embarks on its first UK cathedral tour this autumn, bringing its ground-breaking show to some of the country's most remarkable venues.
Guildford Cathedral will host two performances on Thursday 17 December 2026, at 6:15pm and 9:15pm.
